During one of my breaks at work yesterday, I went to the health & beauty section. I was looking for some new eyeliner and I saw the aisle of hair dyes. As soon as I saw it, I decided I was sick of having blonde in my hair and bought 2 boxes of Garnier 100% Colour in Medium Brown, which is actually really dark brown - but I already knew that because I used to use that colour all the time.

I do that sometimes. I see something I like and decide to just go for it. I mean appearance-wise. I just had the blonde put in 3 weeks ago. But I actually missed having dark hair because it looks better on me.

I added a music player to the site! Just click on "Music" under the Nav on the left. I have to change some of the songs still.

I've been thinking about adding more to the site - yummy but healthy recipes, articles on health & beauty, etc. I was planning on opening another site, Style Central, but it's just too much work. It's only about 1/4 done and I've had the site for months. I'll probably get around to it later in the summer.

Right now I want to focus on this site because I let it die for so long. Plus, I'm getting like 50 unique hits a day. They just randomly shot up one day. It was actually a day when I wasn't on the computer at all - I went to Canada's Wonderland. When I got home a couple days later I looked at the stats and it said my highest day was July 20th with 106 unique hits.

I think I'm going to end this here, seeing as I've written a novel.

I've been watching 3-5 episodes per night for the last 3 or 4 weeks. Well, not every night. But for the last 4 days it's been every night.

I'm pretty sure it's getting to be an obsession. Last night I started watching it at around 12:30. Didn't stop til 3AM and I wasn't even tired. I looked at the clock and this was my expression:
I didn't even feel tired. I just decided to go to bed. At least I have will power.

I've made about 10 so far. 5 summer, 1 lyric, 4 heartbreak. Expect lots to come very soon! I'll probably end up making lots more for the rest of the week. I don't work very much this week at all - finally! I've been enjoying my relaxation time lately. Didn't have much of that for the first half of the summer with my second job, which is why I quit.

First of all, it was a very boring job. Second, they expected me to have a consistent schedule or they'd find someone else. They knew from the beginning that I have another job and it was my first priority. I can't help it if the schedule there isn't consistent. And thirdly, I don't want to look back on this summer as working 24/7. I was working at least 6 days/week and some of those days were 12-hour work days (because I'd work both jobs in one day sometimes).

I have been on a high for the last week. I don't know what it is - maybe it's because they're both out of my life and I'm just relieved? Or maybe it's also because I don't have to worry about anyone but myself. Whatever it is, I love it!

I'm actually glad we broke up. For the longest time I felt like I was being suffocated. I mean, yeah I liked spending time with him but the one time I spent time with my friends without him, he got jealous. He was jealous because I got to have fun with my friends while he sat at home. It's not like it was my fault he had no friends. Oh well. That's exactly the kind of thing that I don't have to worry about anymore.

Just wanted to share that with the world.

Do you ever feel like you're not moving forward and you're just stuck in the same place forever? The same situations, just with different people?

I don't know about anyone else, but it seems like I'm always being attracted to the same type of guys - sweet, nice, sort of quiet at first but opens up after a while, then turns into an asshole when you really get to know him.

Are we really just falling in love with the same person over and over again?

It's a lesson better remembered than re-experienced. So why do I keep doing this to myself?

So I helped catch a thief today at work.

He's been stealing from our store for the last month or so, and he comes in at least once a week. So today the girl that I was working with told me to go see the security guy and see what the guy who's been stealing looks like.
Not even 5 minutes after I got back to my department, I see the guy walking up to our counter with a cart.

My jaw just dropped at that point. I was actually a little scared at first - I don't know why. He's a thief, not a murderer. But anyway.
As soon as we saw him, we called the security guy and he was already aware - he had been watching our department from the cameras.

So the thief asks for 5lbs of pickerel and tells us he'll be right back - he went to the meat department to grab a few things. So he comes back and the girl who was working with me saw his cart and it was full of stuff. She was like "Having a party?" and he said "What? Oh, uhh. Yeah. Ten people coming over tonight. I don't buy fish very often cause it's so damn expensive." then he laughed. I felt like saying "Yeah, I bet you don't buy fish very often." haha but I kept my mouth shut.

So then he leaves with all of his stuff and we kind of watch where he's going - he did a circle then went to the front of the store and by this time he's already ditched his cart and stuffed all the fish & meat into his duffel bag (almost $200 worth). The security guy is following him at this point.

Then he walks out into the front doors (the cart room) and does a circle in there and walks out of the store. As soon as he leaves the store, I see the security guy just boot it out the doors to catch him.

It was hilarious. He actually asked my co-worker and I if our manager was working and we told him she wasn't. That's probably why he thought he could get away with it. He thought wrong - the two teenagers in the department were the ones who caught him.

I'm just a little crimestopper, eh? haha.

So my baby simulator for Parenting class just died. I've had it since Friday after school and it's finally over. On Friday night, I woke up 16 times. Last night, it was 9 times. And that was just between 11pm and 8am.

On Wednesday, I'm participating in the St. Joe's Spring Musical Review. Because I'm in the vocal music class, we pretty much have to participate, along with the other music classes. My class is singing Dancing Queen by ABBA, One from Chorus Line, and We Go Together from Grease. We also have to act in a couple performances, like One Last Kiss and A Lot of Livin' To Do. We pretty much just have to swoon over the male singers.

Then on Friday, I have a date
He used to go to my school - he was in grade eleven when I was in grade nine. He kind of liked this girl in my grade who I was friends with and had a few classes with so I tried to get her interested in him. But she didn't really want to have anything to do with him. She's kind of superficial like that. What I never told him, though, was that I liked him at the time. I didn't really want to embarrass myself by telling him I liked him and then have him be like "I just think of you as a friend" or something like that.

So not too long after Jarrod and I broke up, he said hi to me on MSN one day and he mentioned that he had an extra ticket for a comedy show, which was last night. Of course, I had my baby and couldn't go, but I let him know that I was still interested in hanging out by suggesting we go to a movie this Friday.

And yeah. That's my story.
I'm so excited.

Hey, everyone. I know you all probably think I'm dead by now. But here I am.

So the reason why I haven't been blogging lately is because my now ex-boyfriend and I were having a bunch of problems in the last month. And we broke up on Tuesday afternoon. So I'm sure you can all understand why I haven't been here for so long.

I'd really prefer not to discuss the details because there was so much going on and it all happened really fast. The point is, we're over.

But I think I'm holding up pretty well so far. I kind of like someone else, who I liked a bit when I first started dating Jarrod, but I didn't want to be a bitch and dump Jarrod for someone I hardly knew. Besides, I liked Jarrod a lot more.

I've always been able to get over boyfriends fast, and I think I'm about 40% over Jarrod so far. Not bad, in my opinion. It has only been two days, after all.

I just realized that I still have that page about Jarrod up. Better go remove that, haha.

I've added two pictures of myself on my Photography page. The second one is just my eye, though xP
And I'm changing around the CSS. I might get around to making a new skin as well.

I went to Florida for March Break (I was there from March 6-March 14) and I finally have time to blog.

I haven't been able to go online and update during computers class lately because we've been working on a newsletter assignment and today we had a test on the computer. And at the end of February, Jarrod and I celebrated our one-year anniversary.

I swear, I have good reasons for not updating.

But I've changed the Video of the Week again. It's now a music video. Go watch when you're done reading

Finally! Though I'm not finished Style Central yet, I figured I should blog again like I've been meaning to do for the last week. It's been a month and a day since I last blogged.

So yeah. I have about 15-20 more pages to finish, but the layout & CSS are both finished as well as the forum. Yes, there will be a forum. It's only beauty/fashion/health & fitness related, though. I didn't see the point in adding sections about homework and stuff like that because that's not what SC is about.

Lots has been going on lately. Monday was Family Day in Canada and I went to my Grandma's apartment with my Dad and we went out for dinner. I bought Jarrod's mom 2 birthday gifts because her birthday is on Thursday. I was invited to go out to dinner with them and I figured I'd feel really awkward if I just went for the dinner and didn't have a gift or anything for her.

I also bought Jarrod's present for our one year anniversary that's coming up on the 25th. I'm not going to say what it is on here, though, because I know he reads this every once in a while. We're celebrating on the 22nd because the 25th is a Monday and we want to be able to go out for dinner and a movie, and we would be pretty limited for time on a Monday. So we're celebrating on a Friday.

And I have Monday to Friday off work this week! I only have to work Sunday and Saturday then we got Monday off for Family Day and we get paid for it.

I had a cold for two weeks. Now I've just got a slightly runny nose - but not as much as before. I was leaving every class at least once to go to the bathroom and blow my nose. It was so gross.

I'm at school right now. I'm in one of the computer labs, pretending to work on an assignment. But I'm already finished and I don't feel like doing anything else.

Finally, Kawaiiville is back up.
I added the girl who was auctioning the two layouts to MSN and she said to give her a couple days because school is hectic right now for her. But I've pretty much won the layouts for $4.00, which isn't bad, considering the quality.

I'm so excited to get my new website up and running. I'm constantly thinking of more ideas.

OH! I thought of something this morning that I could add on to the product reviews. I could suggest cheaper alternatives that are similar in quality. I was using an eyeshadow I've had for a long time but this is like the third time I've used it and I realized it's almost the same colour as the gold eyeshadow I reviewed, but it doesn't last quite as long - it is cheaper, though.

I found a host for Style Central - Meredith at Carouse.net. Unfortunately, someone keeps hacking into their server so Meredith is going to host me with her other site, Quotetastic.net once she gets the details. Now I just have to wait for Kville to come back so I can get the layouts I was bidding on. I feel so lost without Kville. I'm on PBF all the time because it's the next best thing.

I'm going to my uncle's funeral tomorrow. He passed away on Wednesday morning, which would account for why I haven't blogged lately. He had lung cancer. They found it in October, but it was too late. He had it for 26 years from chemotherapy treatment being done on cancer he had a long time ago. Since October, he was living with my Dad and I in the spare bedroom. At least we were able to have one last Christmas with him. I was supposed to work today, but when I went in last night, I cried 3 times because quite a few people had been coming up to me, telling me that they're sorry for my loss, etc. I know they don't mean any harm and they have good intentions, but it's hard to be constantly reminded of the one thing you're trying not to think about for 4 1/2 hours.

Okay, so the reason I haven't been here lately is because something went wrong with our hard drive and for a few days, the computer would just randomly shut off but not fully - it would stay on sort of. There's two lights at the bottom of the tower and the one for the hard drive kept going out and the only way to really turn the computer off would be to unplug it because the buttons wouldn't work. My dad brought it to someone yesterday and he fixed it, but we still need to get a new hard drive.

My only way of going online was through my cell phone and I only used it for MSN & Facebook. We used my uncle's tower, but because he's with Bell and we're with Rogers, our modem would only work to connect us to MSN and not Internet Explorer or anything. It sucked.

But I'm back now. And you may or may not have noticed that I added another tutorial just before this whole thing happened. If you haven't read it, you can click here.

I'm going Christmas shopping tomorrow. I need to buy for my cousin, my boyfriend, and my mom. My mom only asked for two things, but I think I'll get her the other thing for her birthday in January.

Today I went shopping with my friend, Jessica, for Christmas Care. Every year, our school does this. Each homeroom is assigned a family to buy food and presents for. This year, we had one mother and two children: a boy, age 3, and a girl, age 6. Everyone brought in a bit of money and we had a grand total of $85. So our teacher asked me and Jessica to buy the toys. I really wish I was one of those kids. I wanted all of their toys.
Our teacher asked us because we're two "responsible females." And I can kind of understand why he didn't ask any of the other girls in our class. But I won't get into that.

Our school has a newspaper now. There's three editors, all in grade twelve. But their editing skills really suck because I found quite a few spelling/grammatical errors. And they forgot Capricorn in the horoscope section. And I'm a year younger than them. Jessica told me I should be the editor or write for it because I'm always writing on here. But I prefer to just write whenever I want and whatever I want rather than having a deadline and a topic assigned to me. And it's only student council that writes in it, anyway.

Well, Jarrod's coming over soon so I should get off of here.

Okay, I'm back. Lately I've been really getting serious about picking what programs I want to take and what colleges I'm going to apply to, etc.
So I took a look in the Guidance Office today during lunch and they told me I could take as many college books as I wanted, as long as there was more than one copy there. So I took about 7 or 8 (and I can keep them! ) and it's so confusing.
And the worst part is, the job that I'm most interested in (Event Planner) isn't even offered at the closest colleges. The closest one is a couple hours away.
And I don't want to move away - I'd prefer to stay at home so I don't spend more money than I need to, like on rent, groceries, etc. I'd already have to pay for car insurance, gas, and school. Not to mention movies and stuff I'd be doing outside of school.
And I hate that we have to choose so young. I mean, we're living longer now, so what's the rush? They put so much pressure on us when we're only 15 or 16 years old. Everyone's always asking me, "So what do you want to be when you're older?"
And the fact that everything we do as a teenager will determine our future is scary.
Anyways. Back to stressing over colleges for me.

Last night I had my hair done - she didn't get a chance to trim it, though, because something else came up so she's going to do it another day. But she dyed it for me. It's reallyyy dark brown now.
& there's only four days until 9 months with Jarrod.
It'll be 10 months on Christmas day.
I have to go right now, but I'll add to this later tonight probably.

Tonight I'm having a sleepover with Jarrod.
I offered to paint his nails, but he declined
He's sleeping over tonight because his parents are gone camping and he's coming with my dad and I to have Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow around noon. He was going to come over tonight anyway, so it saves him a little gas this way. We're also celebrating my birthday which is a week from today. I picked out my cake. I really wanted a Little Mermaid cake from work, but it would have been super-expensive.
He's watching football with my cat, Pumpkin.

I had to work 1:45 to 8:00 tonight. It was boring as hell. I had no customers for the last FOUR hours of my shift! And I had everything done by 6:45, including the counters. We have to pull the fish out of the counters every night and put them in the cooler. I only had two counters to pull because we don't have the third counter put in from Monday to Wednesday. I know it's not Monday yet, but we weren't even busy yesterday. And that was a Saturday.

Seriously. How stupid can people get? Do I look like I'm in the Produce department as I'm standing here, behind the fish counter?
I've had people ask me how much the oranges are, how to use the sushi kits...
So if you're ever in the Real Canadian Superstore - or any grocery store for that matter - don't ever ask someone about something in another department.

Okay. Enough talk about work.

Jarrod was thinking about making his own website, similar to the style of mine (blog, some visitor content, etc) but he has no idea what to have on it. I suggested photography but he said he needs to get a better camera for that. And I suggested he offer advice for girls about guys or a male's opinion, because he'd be part of a minority (that minority being a male website owner). Oh! I almost forgot to mention this. I got my hair done yesterday. I got blonde put in it. It's only highlights, but most of the top few layers are blonde. I love it

This is the picture I originally showed my hairdresser, so she had an idea of what I wanted. My blonde isn't as golden as that, though. But I think I like mine better. I'll post pictures soon - tomorrow Jarrod & I are getting pictures taken so I can see if I can get them on the computer. I might have to wait until I'm at my dad's, though, because he's the one with the scanner. Of course, I could always just take a picture of the pictures with the camera here at my mom's.

Anyway. I should probably get going. Jarrod's coming over soon and I'm still in my PJs with no makeup.

Anyway, I've been pretty busy. I've been working more than usual lately and I've been with Jarrod during most of my free time. I also downloaded this game called Trickster. It's fun

Today I got up at 5:30AM, the earliest I've woken up all summer, and left at 7AM to go cross-border shopping in the States. Overall, it was pretty successful.

I bought;
★ three pairs of shoes
★ a new black & white dress
★ four babydoll (or maternity as Jarrod calls them) shirts
★ a few other cute tops

I'll add pictures tomorrow. The dress is so cute. It fits really nicely, too. And all of the shoes are comfy.

I love all of the babydoll tops. They're so comfy, and perfect for "fat days"

Tomorrow is Jarrod & I's five month anniversary. But we're not doing anything special to celebrate. We both agree that the big ones are six months and one year, two years, etc.
