I have been on a high for the last week. I don't know what it is - maybe it's because they're both out of my life and I'm just relieved? Or maybe it's also because I don't have to worry about anyone but myself. Whatever it is, I love it!

I'm actually glad we broke up. For the longest time I felt like I was being suffocated. I mean, yeah I liked spending time with him but the one time I spent time with my friends without him, he got jealous. He was jealous because I got to have fun with my friends while he sat at home. It's not like it was my fault he had no friends. Oh well. That's exactly the kind of thing that I don't have to worry about anymore.

Just wanted to share that with the world.

Do you ever feel like you're not moving forward and you're just stuck in the same place forever? The same situations, just with different people?

I don't know about anyone else, but it seems like I'm always being attracted to the same type of guys - sweet, nice, sort of quiet at first but opens up after a while, then turns into an asshole when you really get to know him.

Are we really just falling in love with the same person over and over again?

It's a lesson better remembered than re-experienced. So why do I keep doing this to myself?

So I helped catch a thief today at work.

He's been stealing from our store for the last month or so, and he comes in at least once a week. So today the girl that I was working with told me to go see the security guy and see what the guy who's been stealing looks like.
Not even 5 minutes after I got back to my department, I see the guy walking up to our counter with a cart.

My jaw just dropped at that point. I was actually a little scared at first - I don't know why. He's a thief, not a murderer. But anyway.
As soon as we saw him, we called the security guy and he was already aware - he had been watching our department from the cameras.

So the thief asks for 5lbs of pickerel and tells us he'll be right back - he went to the meat department to grab a few things. So he comes back and the girl who was working with me saw his cart and it was full of stuff. She was like "Having a party?" and he said "What? Oh, uhh. Yeah. Ten people coming over tonight. I don't buy fish very often cause it's so damn expensive." then he laughed. I felt like saying "Yeah, I bet you don't buy fish very often." haha but I kept my mouth shut.

So then he leaves with all of his stuff and we kind of watch where he's going - he did a circle then went to the front of the store and by this time he's already ditched his cart and stuffed all the fish & meat into his duffel bag (almost $200 worth). The security guy is following him at this point.

Then he walks out into the front doors (the cart room) and does a circle in there and walks out of the store. As soon as he leaves the store, I see the security guy just boot it out the doors to catch him.

It was hilarious. He actually asked my co-worker and I if our manager was working and we told him she wasn't. That's probably why he thought he could get away with it. He thought wrong - the two teenagers in the department were the ones who caught him.

I'm just a little crimestopper, eh? haha.

Oh, gosh. Almost a month and a half since I've blogged. That's terrible.

Life has been so crazy lately - ISPs are due soon, exams start next week, lots of partying, lots of boys , and lots of work!

I have updated the site a bit today. I added another piece of writing to the Writing page. The other piece of writing has been extended and turned into a song. Go here to read both!

I also added 3 new pictures of myself. Well, they're not new to me - just you. I've had these pictures for a couple months now. Located here.

And I've also got some exciting news. Well, it's exciting for me.

I'm in Vocals class this semester. So far we've done two solo vocal tests and the third and final one is next week. On my first test, my mark was 75%. The only thing that I screwed up on was my breathing technique. Because I was nervous, I wasn't breathing properly. Well, I got over that the second time but unfortunately I didn't know the song very well, so I only got 70%. But my teacher wrote on my sheet "You shouldn't be nervous doing the solo work. In the choral setting, you stand out just fine," which means that I actually don't suck at singing! I knew I was okay, but by him saying that I "stand out" and I don't have shitty marks - then it's pretty clear that I can sing fairly well. When I try, anyway. Sometimes I sing at home and I'm not trying, so it's not the best. But who cares? Nobody can hear me
That just made my day today.

Moving on..

I only have 3 exams - 2 next Friday and one on the following Monday. Then I'm done and I'll only have one year of high school left! Actually, I was thinking about going back for another year possibly and working. Just to improve some of my marks. But I'm not sure yet. I have a while to think about it.

And I have 3 final projects left to hand in. So I should probably get working on them. I swear I'll blog again soon - and by soon, I mean within the next week or so.

So my baby simulator for Parenting class just died. I've had it since Friday after school and it's finally over. On Friday night, I woke up 16 times. Last night, it was 9 times. And that was just between 11pm and 8am.

On Wednesday, I'm participating in the St. Joe's Spring Musical Review. Because I'm in the vocal music class, we pretty much have to participate, along with the other music classes. My class is singing Dancing Queen by ABBA, One from Chorus Line, and We Go Together from Grease. We also have to act in a couple performances, like One Last Kiss and A Lot of Livin' To Do. We pretty much just have to swoon over the male singers.

Then on Friday, I have a date
He used to go to my school - he was in grade eleven when I was in grade nine. He kind of liked this girl in my grade who I was friends with and had a few classes with so I tried to get her interested in him. But she didn't really want to have anything to do with him. She's kind of superficial like that. What I never told him, though, was that I liked him at the time. I didn't really want to embarrass myself by telling him I liked him and then have him be like "I just think of you as a friend" or something like that.

So not too long after Jarrod and I broke up, he said hi to me on MSN one day and he mentioned that he had an extra ticket for a comedy show, which was last night. Of course, I had my baby and couldn't go, but I let him know that I was still interested in hanging out by suggesting we go to a movie this Friday.

And yeah. That's my story.
I'm so excited.

Hey, everyone. I know you all probably think I'm dead by now. But here I am.

So the reason why I haven't been blogging lately is because my now ex-boyfriend and I were having a bunch of problems in the last month. And we broke up on Tuesday afternoon. So I'm sure you can all understand why I haven't been here for so long.

I'd really prefer not to discuss the details because there was so much going on and it all happened really fast. The point is, we're over.

But I think I'm holding up pretty well so far. I kind of like someone else, who I liked a bit when I first started dating Jarrod, but I didn't want to be a bitch and dump Jarrod for someone I hardly knew. Besides, I liked Jarrod a lot more.

I've always been able to get over boyfriends fast, and I think I'm about 40% over Jarrod so far. Not bad, in my opinion. It has only been two days, after all.

I just realized that I still have that page about Jarrod up. Better go remove that, haha.

I've added two pictures of myself on my Photography page. The second one is just my eye, though xP
And I'm changing around the CSS. I might get around to making a new skin as well.

Okay, so about two years ago I decided that I'd get a tattoo when I was old enough. That will be on October 14 of this year. I really wanted a star on my inner wrist, much like Ashlee Simpson's star tattoo:




But now I think I want something on my ankle instead, only because most (if not, all) tattoo places won't allow someone's first tattoo to be somewhere visible, especially at my age. Something about not many places would hire me if I have a tattoo somewhere that can easily be seen, which I understand. So I figured, it won't be often that someone will be seeing my ankle. Only about 1/3 of the year. So now I kind of want either cherries or a star on my ankle. Here's a picture of the cherries I want:


I'm not really sure what I want. Any thoughts? Please don't comment saying something like "I don't like tattoos - don't get one!!" because I won't listen to you.
