During one of my breaks at work yesterday, I went to the health & beauty section. I was looking for some new eyeliner and I saw the aisle of hair dyes. As soon as I saw it, I decided I was sick of having blonde in my hair and bought 2 boxes of Garnier 100% Colour in Medium Brown, which is actually really dark brown - but I already knew that because I used to use that colour all the time.

I do that sometimes. I see something I like and decide to just go for it. I mean appearance-wise. I just had the blonde put in 3 weeks ago. But I actually missed having dark hair because it looks better on me.

I added a music player to the site! Just click on "Music" under the Nav on the left. I have to change some of the songs still.

I've been thinking about adding more to the site - yummy but healthy recipes, articles on health & beauty, etc. I was planning on opening another site, Style Central, but it's just too much work. It's only about 1/4 done and I've had the site for months. I'll probably get around to it later in the summer.

Right now I want to focus on this site because I let it die for so long. Plus, I'm getting like 50 unique hits a day. They just randomly shot up one day. It was actually a day when I wasn't on the computer at all - I went to Canada's Wonderland. When I got home a couple days later I looked at the stats and it said my highest day was July 20th with 106 unique hits.

I think I'm going to end this here, seeing as I've written a novel.

I've been watching 3-5 episodes per night for the last 3 or 4 weeks. Well, not every night. But for the last 4 days it's been every night.

I'm pretty sure it's getting to be an obsession. Last night I started watching it at around 12:30. Didn't stop til 3AM and I wasn't even tired. I looked at the clock and this was my expression:
I didn't even feel tired. I just decided to go to bed. At least I have will power.

I've made about 10 so far. 5 summer, 1 lyric, 4 heartbreak. Expect lots to come very soon! I'll probably end up making lots more for the rest of the week. I don't work very much this week at all - finally! I've been enjoying my relaxation time lately. Didn't have much of that for the first half of the summer with my second job, which is why I quit.

First of all, it was a very boring job. Second, they expected me to have a consistent schedule or they'd find someone else. They knew from the beginning that I have another job and it was my first priority. I can't help it if the schedule there isn't consistent. And thirdly, I don't want to look back on this summer as working 24/7. I was working at least 6 days/week and some of those days were 12-hour work days (because I'd work both jobs in one day sometimes).

Oh, gosh. Almost a month and a half since I've blogged. That's terrible.

Life has been so crazy lately - ISPs are due soon, exams start next week, lots of partying, lots of boys , and lots of work!

I have updated the site a bit today. I added another piece of writing to the Writing page. The other piece of writing has been extended and turned into a song. Go here to read both!

I also added 3 new pictures of myself. Well, they're not new to me - just you. I've had these pictures for a couple months now. Located here.

And I've also got some exciting news. Well, it's exciting for me.

I'm in Vocals class this semester. So far we've done two solo vocal tests and the third and final one is next week. On my first test, my mark was 75%. The only thing that I screwed up on was my breathing technique. Because I was nervous, I wasn't breathing properly. Well, I got over that the second time but unfortunately I didn't know the song very well, so I only got 70%. But my teacher wrote on my sheet "You shouldn't be nervous doing the solo work. In the choral setting, you stand out just fine," which means that I actually don't suck at singing! I knew I was okay, but by him saying that I "stand out" and I don't have shitty marks - then it's pretty clear that I can sing fairly well. When I try, anyway. Sometimes I sing at home and I'm not trying, so it's not the best. But who cares? Nobody can hear me
That just made my day today.

Moving on..

I only have 3 exams - 2 next Friday and one on the following Monday. Then I'm done and I'll only have one year of high school left! Actually, I was thinking about going back for another year possibly and working. Just to improve some of my marks. But I'm not sure yet. I have a while to think about it.

And I have 3 final projects left to hand in. So I should probably get working on them. I swear I'll blog again soon - and by soon, I mean within the next week or so.

Hey, everyone. I know you all probably think I'm dead by now. But here I am.

So the reason why I haven't been blogging lately is because my now ex-boyfriend and I were having a bunch of problems in the last month. And we broke up on Tuesday afternoon. So I'm sure you can all understand why I haven't been here for so long.

I'd really prefer not to discuss the details because there was so much going on and it all happened really fast. The point is, we're over.

But I think I'm holding up pretty well so far. I kind of like someone else, who I liked a bit when I first started dating Jarrod, but I didn't want to be a bitch and dump Jarrod for someone I hardly knew. Besides, I liked Jarrod a lot more.

I've always been able to get over boyfriends fast, and I think I'm about 40% over Jarrod so far. Not bad, in my opinion. It has only been two days, after all.

I just realized that I still have that page about Jarrod up. Better go remove that, haha.

I've added two pictures of myself on my Photography page. The second one is just my eye, though xP
And I'm changing around the CSS. I might get around to making a new skin as well.

I went to Florida for March Break (I was there from March 6-March 14) and I finally have time to blog.

I haven't been able to go online and update during computers class lately because we've been working on a newsletter assignment and today we had a test on the computer. And at the end of February, Jarrod and I celebrated our one-year anniversary.

I swear, I have good reasons for not updating.

Finally! Though I'm not finished Style Central yet, I figured I should blog again like I've been meaning to do for the last week. It's been a month and a day since I last blogged.

So yeah. I have about 15-20 more pages to finish, but the layout & CSS are both finished as well as the forum. Yes, there will be a forum. It's only beauty/fashion/health & fitness related, though. I didn't see the point in adding sections about homework and stuff like that because that's not what SC is about.

Lots has been going on lately. Monday was Family Day in Canada and I went to my Grandma's apartment with my Dad and we went out for dinner. I bought Jarrod's mom 2 birthday gifts because her birthday is on Thursday. I was invited to go out to dinner with them and I figured I'd feel really awkward if I just went for the dinner and didn't have a gift or anything for her.

I also bought Jarrod's present for our one year anniversary that's coming up on the 25th. I'm not going to say what it is on here, though, because I know he reads this every once in a while. We're celebrating on the 22nd because the 25th is a Monday and we want to be able to go out for dinner and a movie, and we would be pretty limited for time on a Monday. So we're celebrating on a Friday.

And I have Monday to Friday off work this week! I only have to work Sunday and Saturday then we got Monday off for Family Day and we get paid for it.

I had a cold for two weeks. Now I've just got a slightly runny nose - but not as much as before. I was leaving every class at least once to go to the bathroom and blow my nose. It was so gross.

I finally changed the Video of the Week. It's now Salad Fingers - Episode One

I'm at school right now. I'm in one of the computer labs, pretending to work on an assignment. But I'm already finished and I don't feel like doing anything else.

Finally, Kawaiiville is back up.
I added the girl who was auctioning the two layouts to MSN and she said to give her a couple days because school is hectic right now for her. But I've pretty much won the layouts for $4.00, which isn't bad, considering the quality.

I'm so excited to get my new website up and running. I'm constantly thinking of more ideas.

OH! I thought of something this morning that I could add on to the product reviews. I could suggest cheaper alternatives that are similar in quality. I was using an eyeshadow I've had for a long time but this is like the third time I've used it and I realized it's almost the same colour as the gold eyeshadow I reviewed, but it doesn't last quite as long - it is cheaper, though.

I found a host for Style Central - Meredith at Carouse.net. Unfortunately, someone keeps hacking into their server so Meredith is going to host me with her other site, Quotetastic.net once she gets the details. Now I just have to wait for Kville to come back so I can get the layouts I was bidding on. I feel so lost without Kville. I'm on PBF all the time because it's the next best thing.

I'm going to my uncle's funeral tomorrow. He passed away on Wednesday morning, which would account for why I haven't blogged lately. He had lung cancer. They found it in October, but it was too late. He had it for 26 years from chemotherapy treatment being done on cancer he had a long time ago. Since October, he was living with my Dad and I in the spare bedroom. At least we were able to have one last Christmas with him. I was supposed to work today, but when I went in last night, I cried 3 times because quite a few people had been coming up to me, telling me that they're sorry for my loss, etc. I know they don't mean any harm and they have good intentions, but it's hard to be constantly reminded of the one thing you're trying not to think about for 4 1/2 hours.

I've also changed the Visitor page a bit - I've made it more organized. But I need to edit the CSS and add a new header. I also need to add a free layout that I've had for a while.

Okay, so I've decided that I'm going to delete ALL of the celebrity icons.
The only ones staying are the Lyrics & Quotes and the Miscellaneous sections. I'm doing this so I can avoid being sued by the original photographers. I'm also going to delete the Avril Lavigne skin. I will be making a new skin soon, so those of you who may not like the only other skins on here can at least have a bit more of a selection.

I probably won't get to any of that tonight, as I am going to bed soon, but within the next week, they will be removed. So if there's any you like and haven't saved yet, you'd better get to that soon.

I'm working on some new content right now. I'm planning on adding a Recipes section under Visitor. I'm also thinking of adding makeup tutorials. Mostly just different looks for your eyes, as that's always my main focus while doing my makeup. Please don't give up on me yet - I promise I'll have new content REALLY soon.

Okay, I'm back. It's lunchtime so I have to hurry. I got my period on my birthday
I had to take 2 Tylenol pills and lie down for an hour with a heating pad on my stomach because it hurt so much.
But on the up side, there were lots of visitors on my birthday. About 3x the average day.
Sadly, only two people commented. Remember, the more you comment, the more I'll be adding to the site.
I've already started an opinion article, which I hope to be adding within the next couple of days. I'll also be adding a "Writing" page. We're doing poetry in English class, so I'll be adding my work there, including the poem I showed you all about 2 or 3 blog entries ago.

What else has gone on lately..

We had a school dance on Thursday night, which was pretty fun. I made Jarrod dance and now he can't wait for the next school dance.

I also added a section of purple to my hair. I used a bingo dauber
But it looks pretty good. Too bad it's going to get washed out tonight. I might redo it after my hair has dried, though. It's hard to do it yourself - I had to get Jarrod to do it for me. And for a guy, he did a pretty good job.

My birthday is in two weeks! And Jarrod's is in 3 weeks. I got his big present the other day. Now I just have to get him a card and a couple other things that I won't mention here even though I think he already knows

I've been thinking of adding a shop to the site for a while now, and I'd like to know what you guys think of the idea. I would sell icon packs - 20/$1.00USD (5 cents each) and 50/$2.00 (4 cents each)
I was also thinking of selling custom CSS. I made Jazzie's CSS not too long ago and everyone told me I was really good at CSS. So I thought I'd offer that service. The price would depend on the complexity of the CSS. Basic CSS (text, 2 headers, links) would cost $0.50USD. And for every extra (textarea, table, extra header, etc) it would cost an extra 10 cents.

I already added a Paypal Donate button to the sidebar. I also kind of reorganized the sidebar - moved the Link Me? and Donate? sections above the Affiliates. It looked a bit crowded with the Affiliates right below the Navigation.

I also added two new buttons. Click here to view them. One is 32x32 and the other is 88x31.

Also - not sure if I've mentioned this before or not, but I'd appreciate it if you clicked on the button under 'Advertise'. The more hits coming from my site to hers, the more chance there is of me winning a free domain

Okay, so some of you have said that PSP scripts would be a good addition for the site. I just made one, but then I got thinking, "Maybe I should just make icon tutorials rather than offer scripts."

And to celebrate the premier of the new season, most of the icons are featuring The Hills cast. Only two so far, though. I plan on making some Audrina ones, and maybe Heidi. Definitely not Spencer, though.

Finally, the site is finished. Well, mostly. I just need to add some more visitor content. As of right now, I only have some icons.

I just made a thread on Kawaiiville looking for affies. Hopefully I get some soon because as soon as they go up, I'm "officially" opening the site. Right now I still have an "Under Construction" page up because I don't want anyone seeing the site until it's open. Well, I've let three people see it. But it was only Jarrod (my boyfriend), Jessica (my best friend), and my old host, Meredith. But no one else. I just needed feedback on how the layout looked and stuff. It was all positive!

All summer, all I've been doing is making websites, working, and hanging out with Jarrod. Oh, and staying up until 3AM and waking up at 1PM. Tonight I'm going to be up for about 48 hours straight because I wanted to finish the website and I have to stay awake from 7AM to 10PM because I'm babysitting until 4:30, then I'm hanging out with Jarrod.
